I was tested and found to be deficient in vitamin D. Took 1000 IU daily and got terrible gas and diarrhea. I am trying it again but a lower dose.
Thankyou again for this info. I will ask my doctor about the test. I live in Toronto Ontario Canada and of course we have winters here with snow and cold but we do get mild weather with sun. Eveyone in Canada and the Northern Us should take D supps for sure during the winter months,
I am from Argentina, but when I moved to Denmark my doctor warned me about the lack of vit D because there’s no sun here. It is good idea to take a 25OH test every year.

Great but what about too much D gives a person kidney stones? I don’t know what to believe but I do take 1000 IUs daily, and I believe it is necessary but 2000 or 4000?

It doesn’t take millions of yrs to get the different breeds within a species and we are still close to the same numbers as was on the ark but don’t know the exact count then or now. government has been recommending 60 mg of vitamin C for years although there is so much evidence that several hundred miligrams of this vitamin can prevent many diseases. there are cases in the US of cancer patients that got cured with 100.000 units of intravenous vitamin C. just check google for the evidence. yet the government doesn’t want to know about this. i wonder whose interests they are protecting…
People need to learn more about vitamin D in regard to the H1N1 and other viruses (colds)–before they go running to get that flu shot–which may not even be helpful and in some cases may even prove to be harmful. Ever since I have been taking Vitamin D on a daily basis, I have found that I don’t get sick as much anymore. If I do feel like I am coming down with something, it doesn’t last–unlike the past whereas I would immediately get down with a cold.

I believe if you read my comment, it says; “a God”, not “the” God. Accepting is not proving. Acceptance is based on one’s one standards. Acceptance is subjective. Proof exists when the subject of observation can be predicted and replicated in some way. That is to say, that seeing something once, does not prove it’s existance, be it a God or any other thing. I’m not suggesting there is or is not, only one god. You made that inference.
I accept the existance and benefit of vitamin D and that will have to be enough to be going on with.

Either you accept the possibility of the existance of Gods or not, but if you do, then you have to accept the possibility of every God humanity has considered and not only the one you like yourself. The rest is, as you say, simply “opinion”…

You are looking at things you can see. As for the Ark, I encourage you to read it tells you the exact dimension and if you want to look at it from a scientific point. I am an engineer by trade, the Ark even from A scientific point of view it was designed to be even more than adequate for it’s designed purpose.
plus when you die you dont go to heaven, you just die…nothing more than that other than laying in a casket until bacteria eats you.
we would be able to see heaven with our amazing telescopes that we gotz too if it was out in space somewhere
